Vernis "Vern" Van Riper

Vernis "Vern" Van Riper, age 78, passed away on July 13, 2018. Vern was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on January 25, 1940 to Vernis and Florence Van Riper.

In addition to his parents Vern was preceded in death by his brother Clarence.

Vern is survived by his wife of 60 years Joan "Judy"; sons, James "Jim" (Lori) Van Riper, Michael "Mike" Van Riper; daughter, Kimberly "Kim" (Gary) Donnar; a brother, sisters, several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.

A reception in Vern’s honor will be held on Wednesday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. Family will direct memorials.
