Vernon F. Wulff

Vernon F. Wulff, age 92, passed away January 10, 2023.

He was born on March 17, 1930 in Woodbine, Iowa to the late Fred and Anna (Wessell) Wulff. Vernon served in the US Marines for 2 years. After his discharge, he worked in the trucking industry for over 30 years, retiring from Yellow Freight in 1992.

Vernon loved to bowl and was very proud to be team captain of the "Wulff Pack" for many years. He was an avid Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan. He liked to play cards and a game or two of Yahtzee. He enjoyed camping and fishing as well.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Jean Wulff and grandson, Andre Bazis.

Vernon is survived by his sons, Daryl (Shelly) Wulff, David (Tammy) Wulff, and Kevin (Connie) Wulff; grandson, Dylan (Morgan) Wulff; granddaughter, Abby (Jim) Robinson; great-granddaughter, Lila Jo Wulff; great-grandsons, Landon and Jax Robinson; sister, Elaine Cenovich.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Private Family Burial will be held on January 13, 2023 in Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
