Wallace "Wally" D. Wade Sr.

Wallace D. Wade Sr., age 73, passed away August 21, 2017.

He was born in Dearborn, Michigan on December 19, 1943 to the late Earnest and Della (Gardner) Wade. Wally proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after a full 20 year career.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Marie Day and Ernestine Davis.

Wally is survived by his wife, Ione Wade; son, Wallace “Wally” Wade Jr. (Becky Meyer); daughter, Susan Bowlin (Michael); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bowlin, Anthony Bowlin and Hayden Bowlin; brother-in-law, Jerry Davis; nephew, Mark Davis (Kim); great niece, Sydney and great nephew, Joe.

Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and funeral service is at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, all at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Interment is on Monday in the National Cemetery in Omaha. Memorials are suggested to Wounded Warrior Project or the Alzheimer’s Association.
