Warren B. Chambers, age 92, passed away April 6, 2015 at Risen Son Christian Village. He was born at home in rural Hardin Township on May 16, 1922 to the late Bruce and Mabel (Kerber) Chambers. He graduated from Treynor High School with the class of 1940 and was a lifetime farmer. He was united in marriage on May 19, 1944 to Geraldine Gerry Julin. Warren was raised in the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church and later attended Zion Congregational Church in Treynor. He was a member of the White Shrine, past patron of the Eastern Star and was a longtime member of Amber Lodge #569 A.F. & A.M. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Gerry Chambers; brothers, Robert Chambers and Kenny Chambers; sister, Ethel Trede. Warren is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Ward and Suzanne Chambers, Steve and Jeanie Chambers, Jim and Shirley Chambers; sister, Marilyn Schroeder; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Vivian Chambers; sisters-in-law, Barbara Chambers and Lois Chambers; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Masonic Service will begin at 5:30 p.m on Friday April 10, 2015 followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday 10:00 a.m. at Zion Congregational Church in Treynor. Interment is in the Hardin Township Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Treynor Fire and Rescue or Amber Lodge #569.
