Wayne W. Siebels

Wayne W. Siebels, age 87, of Minden, Iowa passed away March 10, 2014. He was born on the family farm on November 23, 1926 to the late Walter & Grace (Schnepel) Siebels. Wayne graduated from the Minden High School and then served his country in the United States Army. He returned home and worked on the family farm. He was a member of the American Legion Post at Minden and was very active at Carstens 1880 Farmstead, just recently receiving their leadership award. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Siebels and an infant son. Wayne is survived by his brothers, Elwyn Siebels and Larry Siebels & his wife, Joyce; nephews, Scott Siebels (Shannon), Jeff Siebels (Jackie), Rodney Siebels (Bob), David Siebels (Liza); niece, Lori Dauss (Jeff); a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Minden, Iowa Cemetery followed by a reception at the Minden United Church of Christ. Memorials are suggested to Carstens 1880 Farmstead.
