Wilbert M. Jensen

Wilbert M. Jensen, age 89 of Council Bluffs passed away April 21, 2014. He was born in Bloomfield, Nebraska on June 9, 1924 to the late Albert & Minnie (Schmoldt) Jensen. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from the City of Blair Nebraskas Utility Department. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Wilbert is survived by his wife of 70 years, Esther Jensen; daughter and son-in-law, Janice & Stephen Wright; grandchildren, James Wright and his wife, Trina and Kelli Zakaras and her husband, Jeffrey; great grandchildren, Samantha Zakaras, Taylor Zakaras, Kiersten Wright, Marissa Zakaras, Caleb Wright, Spencer Zakaras and Calyssa Wright. Private family services were held followed by burial in the Blair, Nebraska Cemetery.
