William May

William F. "Bill" May, age 94, passed away at the Audubon County Memorial Hospital on October 18, 2023.

He was born April 15, 1929 to C.A. and Iva (Ferguson) May in Newell, WV. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after serving a full career.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by spouses, Laverne May, Janice May, and Karen May; son, JJ May; grandchild, Bradley Slauter; grandchild, Joseph Luedtke; and 10 siblings.

Bill is survived by his children, Michael May, Delora Whitt, Cathy (Terry) Slauter, Susan May, and Missy (Tony) Swanson; brother, Pat May; grandchildren, Jonathan May, Jenny (Kevin) Chavis, Adam (Charlene) Slauter, and Andrew Luedtke; many great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. The family will direct memorials.
