William Sage

William J. "Bill" Sage, age 90, passed away peacefully at Prairie Gate on March 26, 2024. He was born August 13, 1933, to the late Alexander and Gertrude (Reumping) Sage in Omaha, NE. Bill graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1952 and then proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He retired from Werner Enterprises.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Winifred Sage; daughter, Debbie Hering; step-father, Wallace Lewis; step-sister, Dorothy Eckhardt.

William is survived by his children, William (Linda) Sage, Susan (Jeff) Kruse, and Thomas (Tracy) Sage; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM with a vigil service at 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, April 01, 2024.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM at Corpus Christi - Queen of Apostles Catholic Church. Interment will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to either Corpus Christi Parish or Saint Albert Schools.
