Yvonne Norene Boyer

Yvonne Norene Boyer, age 87, of Neola, Iowa passed away on March 27, 2018 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was born on October 19, 1930 in Council Bluffs to the late William & Helen (Goodrich) Hadfield.

Yvonne attended Neola Pubic School and was a lifetime resident of Neola. She was an active member of the Neola Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School for many years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell “Bud” Boyer and daughter-in-law, Mary J. Boyer.

She is survived by her children, Ray Boyer (Dianne), Kirk Boyer, Scott Boyer and Burl Boyer; sister, Norma Stageman; grandchildren, Travis Boyer, Cassandra Adkins (Derrick) and Darrell Boyer; many other family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Neola Presbyterian Church. Funeral Service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church followed by burial at the Neola Township Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Neola Fire & Rescue or Neola Presbyterian Church.
